Nancy Ajram fans in Tunisia might have been in need of an extra box of chocolates this Valentine's Day to comfort the loss of not seeing Arabia's sweetheart songstress the night before. The Lebanese singer was scheduled to perform back-to-back gigs on February 13 and 14 in celebration of the love holiday. The events had been highly publicized creating buzz around the region.

All hopes were dashed when the first concert was cancelled just hours before Nancy was scheduled to take the stage because the Minister of Culture did not give the needed permit, sources reported.

There were contradicting news reports regarding the cancellation of the first concert, the organizing party of the event revealed that they were unable to obtain the legal permit for Nancy due to the fact that the new minister of culture Murad Al Saqli had recently been appointed and he was not given the special legal documents to release permits for the event. The organizers stated that they had received an initial approval for the event from the Music Department at the ministry.

Nancy turned to Twitter to spread her apology for letting her fans down, posting, "Dear fans in Tunisia, due to logistics delay in permit papers,my concert was cancelled tonight. I feel really sad, I came here to see u all!"

Fans were not disappointed the following night as the second scheduled event went on as planned with the picture-perfect star sporting a basilsodaworld outfit, styled by larmoiredelana, makeup by ritaberkachi, and hair by mohammededelbi.
