Imagine a life behind bars... Well, we don't have to, but Nelly Karim does! The Egyptian actress will be spending a lot of time in a cell for her new role in the drama “Sijin Al Nisa'a” (Women's Prison).

Jailbird Nelly will begin filming those scenes right after she's done with working on her other women-centric project “Youm Lil Sittat” (A Day for Women), alongside the fabulous Elham Shahin.

According to Elaph news, Nelly will feel right at “home” on the set of her new series, as practically the entire cast from her latest drama “Al That” (Oneself) will be starring in “Women's Prison” too!

Some of the actresses on board are Houriya Feghali and Durra. Hey, even the same director, Kamila Abu Thikri, is going to be a part of the crew!

So, where will this prison be based? A set resembling a real prison has been built in Cairo, while other scenes will be filmed in different streets of the capital city.

The show's producing company, “Al Adel Group,” were hoping to air the series last year, but due to the need of a number of leading actresses, the production was postponed until Ramadan 2014.
