According to a recent lawsuit, Nicki Minaj threw a fit at her regular manager, hitting him in the face so forcefully that she knocked his head back and sent his hat flying.
Brandon Garrett, a man who claims to have been Nicki's manager during her tour earlier this year when she became physical with him, is suing the "Starships" rapper.
Garrett claims in the lawsuit, which was filed by renowned trial lawyer Thomas Feher and obtained by TMZ, that Nicki called him to her dressing room after sending him on an errand during her April 2024 performance in Detroit.

According to Garrett, Nicki began questioning people about their work duties while she and her teammates were inside. He claims that when she found out that Garrett had previously sent someone else to pick up one of her prescriptions, she became furious.
According to the lawsuit, Nicki allegedly yelled at Garrett, "Are you f***ing crazy having him pick up my prescription?" You've gone completely crazy, and my husband would knock your f***ing teeth out if he were here. You're a walking corpse. I'll make sure you never become somebody since you f***ed up your entire life."
Garrett asserts After telling him his "life was over" and yelling at him repeatedly, Nicki slapped him across the right side of his face with an open palm. He claims that his hat fell off his head and swung backward due to the power of the strike.
Garrett then says that Nicki hit him on the right wrist, knocking documents in his hand to the ground while Nicki's security detail allegedly rushed in near him.

Garrett says he grabbed his hat and hurried out of the room after Nicki instructed him to "get the f*** out." He then locked himself in a toilet inside Little Caesars Arena.
He claims that when he called his fiancée to inform her of what had happened, his face was swollen and his wrist was throbbing. He also claims that he spent hours trapped in the bathroom out of concern for his safety.
Nicki's team refused to let Garrett board the tour bus that would have taken him back to the tour's base in Chicago, leaving him stranded in Detroit.
In addition to seeking damages, he is suing Nicki for assault, battery, and purposeful infliction of emotional distress.
