Lebanese actress/singer Nicole Saba has accepted a role in the new film “45 Days” alongside Egyptian actress Hanan Turk, marking her second acting experience, the first being alongside side Egyptian prominent comedian-actor Adel Imam in “A Danish Experience”. Nicole revealed that she had accepted this film in particular despite the many other offers she had received due to the fact that the story of the film really attracted her attention, and she feels it will add tremendously to her acting career.
The new film will also costar Hind Sabri, Khalid Abu Al Naja and Izzat Abu Ouf, and is also a first time experience for its director. Nicole announced that she will begin shooting scenes for the new film in the very near future.
Nicole has recently completed recording the songs for her first solo album, after breaking free from the famous Lebanese band “The Four Cats”. Saba, who has added acting to her singing and modeling career and has been receiving many offers from producers and directors, revealed that she has no room or time for any form of a love relationship. Nicole added that there is no one special in her life because her career requires lots of traveling and excessive working hours leaving no time to develop a relationship with anyone.
Nicole announced that due to this fact she has come to the conclusion of considering her work as her love, stressing that she considers love an important factor in life and by this her love towards her work gives her the incentive of carrying on. The actress did not deny having been in a love relationship before, but added that none of her experiences were the right one and for this reason they did not last.
During the first screening of the Egyptian film "A Danish Experience" starring Saba Imam, many people began whispering on how Nicole has become so popular. Before starring in the film Nicole was known on a small scale as an ordinary model and singer in the Lebanese band the Four Cats.
The one thing many had wondered was how fate brought her side by side next to one of the Arab world's most popular actors. It was added that her looks and the blonde hair had developed over the years taking her to unimaginable popularity.
Nicole herself revealed that she was in shock when she had received a phone call from Adel asking her to be in his new film. She added that at first she thought it was a prank. The opportunity opened the gateway for Nicole into the Arab version of Hollywood and led many producers and directors to begin offering her roles in their films.
In the movie Nicole admits that she has stepped into the world of celebrities. Nicole revealed that she enjoyed her first acting experience with Adel, who told her that she has got the potential to succeed in the world of acting. Nicole admitted that Adel gave her a push forward to go on to establish a new career in acting in addition to her original career as a singer. Nicole added that she learned a lot from all the notes given by Imam, saying that the story of the movie was bold yet not dull. She stressed that she did her role as a foreign girl and she acted as one. Nicole uttered that she did not come up with anything new regarding her clothes worn in the movie, saying that in all Arab movies since the sixties actresses were wearing revealing dresses and bathing suits, so what she wore was nothing out of the ordinary. –Albawaba.com
