A sudden illness that struck Lebanese singer/actress Nicole Saba forced Egyptian actor Adel Imam to stop the filming of the scenes for the film "Tajruba Denmarkieh" (A Dutch Experience). The singer had become very sick only minutes before the filming process, causing a complete halt of all the work.
According to the UAE based daily, Al Bayan, it was not revealed what is the cause of sickness that suddenly hit the singer. Adel, Ali Idris (the director), and Issam Azzam (the producer) all felt that their only option at the time was to halt all activity until the singer is able to stand on her feet.
Circulating rumors had it that Nicole threatened Imam saying she will pullout of the film after he had forced her not to take part in any other movie until she is finished with shooting all the scenes. It was added that Nicole had received an offer from a Lebanese production company to star in a film at the same time and Adel had told her that she is not to be occupied with any other work except his film, forcing Nicole to make her threats.
Nicole was surprised to hear all these rumors saying they are just full of hot air. She stressed that she had never received any offer from a Lebanese production company and had surely never made any threats to Adel. The singer added that she is grateful to Adel for giving her a once in a lifetime opportunity and that she had freed herself completely for the film alongside preparing for her upcoming album.
Nicole added that she is very proud to be able to work with Adel and that she is taking advantage of every moment to learn from the great comedian actor, for she has a long way to go to be where he is in the acting world. Nicole revealed that she and Adel have become good friends and there is absolutely no form of tension between them.
Nicole a former model, decided to enter the music industry once again by going solo. She also entered the acting business by costarring in the new film with Imam. In her film with Adel, Nicole will sing a duet with the comedian for the first time. The new film is a satirical comedy which revolves around a father, played by Adel, of four adolescent college boys who attempts to raise his children in the right manner making them responsible young men. Throughout the course of events in the film, Adel becomes a Minister a position that leads his sons to try and find every mean possible making it work to their advantage. Nicole, a former member of the Lebanese band "The Four Cats", will play the role of a European from Denmark who comes to Egypt to do research and finds herself in the home of Adel and his four sons. Disputes begin between Adel and his son on who will win Nicole’s heart.
Imam has nominated Nicole for the leading role in his upcoming film a rare and first of a kind matter written by Yousif Ma’ati. The film directed by young director Ali Idris, will costar Egyptian actors Ahmad Ratib, Foad Khalil, Khaled Sarhan, and Tamer Abdul Mun’em. In the film Adel decided to nominate Ali to direct his film instead of his son director Rami Imam. –Albawaba.com
