Taste of Dubai is bringing a new flavour to the city’s entertainment scene on its closing day, with international bands The Noisettes and Counterfeit Beatles flying in for the first time.
The two bands will perform on Saturday March 16, the third day of the annual food festival, at Dubai Media City Amphitheatre. The Noisettes, led by colourful frontwoman and bassist Shingai Shoniwa, are a leading act on the UK’s indie scene, which the Counterfeit Beatles are one of the top tribute acts to the Liverpudlian band.
Taste of Dubai runs from March 14-16 March with 30 Dubai restaurants serving up samples of their food in an al fresco atmosphere and celebrity chefs including Gizzi Erskine, Atul Kochhar, Jenny Morris, Reza Mahammad and Michel Rostang demonstrating their skils .
