The famous Egyptian actor Noor Al Sharif surprised the management of the Cairo Film Festival when he apologized for not being able to participate in the festival as a president of the judging committee. Al Sharif’s decision came after his eldest daughter Sarah started having severe pains in her stomach.
His daughter started screaming very loud from the pain in her stomach and the doctors did not know the cause of these pains. Al Sharif, his ex-wife Bousy and their youngest daughter May all left to France to seek medical help for Sarah.
According to the London daily Elaph, Al Sahrif was scheduled to be the president of the judging committee at the Cairo film festival for the contest of the Aram film since he is one of the leading Arab actors, who has a history of great films and drama works. Al Sharif received many awards for all his performances where they reached up to 60 different awards. He had also received an “Honorary Doctorate” for his achievements.
