Guess who will be rocking Dubai this January? Yes, it's none other than feisty Irish singer-songwriter Sinead O’Connor, who turned Prince’s song Nothing Compares 2 U into a massive global hit in the 90s.
The ever youthful-looking 48-year-old will perform at The Irish Village as part of a tour to promote her 10th album I’m Not Bossy, I’m the Boss on January 29.
O’Connor is known for her blunt confrontational style, but will she tone it down for Dubai?
The controversial figure once famously tore off a photo of the Pope John Paul II after performing a version of Bob Marley’s song War on Saturday Night Live in 1992.
More recently, O’Connor revealed something we'd all been waiting to hear: She’d signed a deal for a memoir, to be released in 2016, and promised to dish “the sexual dirt” of all her former partners!
I’m Not Bossy, I’m the Boss is an album of love songs influenced by Chicago blues. It received positive reviews after its release in August 2014.
