Lebanese singer Nourhanne has filmed a special episode for the show “Sahar Al Laiali” with Karen Salameh on the Lebanese satellite channel ‘Future TV’. On the program, Nourhanne sang a collection of her most popular hits.
The singer was also held guest on the Syrian radio station “Syria Tomorrow” with broadcaster Hakam Al Zoubi on the show “Damascus Night Show”.
Nourhanne was invited after her recent song “Tab Wana Mali” (What is it to me) witnessed tremendous success in Syria as well as around the Arab world.
Currently the singer is busy recording the songs for her upcoming album in different studios around Beirut. The new album will feature nine songs, in which she worked with some of the most noted poets and composers.
Some of the people she worked with are Sameer Nakhleh, Ahmad Madi, Amr Sari and more.
The singer is in a dilemma with regards to which song she wants to film in the form of a music video. Nourhanne has narrowed down her choices to two songs. The clip of the song she chooses will be directed by Camile Tanyous, marking their third cooperation together.
Previously, Gilbert Fayad, business manager of Nourhanne, had received a letter from an association called Gandhi for Human Rights in the Middle East and Africa requesting that the singer accept the position of heading the association.
Gilbert was very hesitant towards the letter and did not express an interest in having the singer accept the position, especially since it was not a detailed or clear one that specifies essential information about the association like where it receives its funding and what are the different activities it performs.
Gilbert had requested additional information from the association but received no response. At the same time the association had sent a similar request to Lebanese singer Dina Hayek requesting her to become the ambassador of the association and represent them, particularly due to the good reputation she has of undergoing several humanitarian activities.
