The Malaysian Ministry of Tourism has chosen Lebanese singer Nourhanne to be the face of its new advertising campaign to promote tourism in Malaysia.

Nourhanne will film a television commercial featuring the most attractive sites in Malaysia, scheduled to be aired on a number of international television channels, like CNN.

According to the London based daily, Alsharq Al Awsat, the singer has returned from Cairo where she redistributed the song "Wi Ana Mali" (What is it my Business) with music distributor Adel Ayish, and she intends to film a music video. Camile Tanyous will direct the clip for the song that was originally sung by the late Egyptian diva Huda Sultan in the sixties.

At the age of 19 Nourhanne signed her first contract with ‘Rotana’ and released her first single "ti amo." Her official debut came with the release of her first album "Shaklo Kif?" (How Does he Look Like?) featuring her famous hit "Habibi ya Einy."  The song now has two versions, the original and the postmodern remix that garnered high record sales in Europe in 2004.

In 2005 she received an Oscar for ‘best young Arab female artist’s voice’ at the ‘Oscar Video Clip Festival’ in Cairo for her song "men zaman" (Long Ago).

Nourhanne is scheduled to begin a tour around the Arab world, starting at the Dead Sea in Jordan, then heading to Bahrain and Egypt.
