In England, they say that if we're going to wait for the rain to stop, we'll never get anything done! And it seems Egyptian actress Ola Ghanem is applying the same rule to the political instability currently haunting Egypt.
The brave actress has begun filming the first scenes of her upcoming film “Klakeet” (Take one, Action), alongside actor Amr Abdel Jalil in Egypt.
This is the duo's second project together, after working on last Ramadan's successful TV drama “Al Zawjah Al Thaniyah” (The Second Wife).
In the film, Ola plays the role of a wife who's looking to prove her husband's innocence; the husband is a cameraman accused of murdering a famous celebrity.
But the two better get filming quickly, as the film is scheduled for release this October, in time for the Muslim holiday Eid Al Adha. 18-hour days have been scheduled to get the movie out on time!
According to the Middle East news portal Elaph, “Klakeet's” director Peter Mimi will film all the scenes in indoor studios due to the chaotic conditions taking place in the country.
Special sets were built especially for the movie, following a series of filming delays and relocation suggestions.
Fingers crossed for completing the film on time, then!
