Syrian actress Jomanah Murad postponed her trip to Cairo up until the private showing of her new film “Capri” the first week of June.
The film is written by Ahmad Abdullah and directed by Sameh Abed Al Aziz and it will star Fathi Abed Al Wahab, Ahmad Bdair, Hala Fakher, May KAsab and Dunia Samir Ghanem.
According to the London daily Elaph, Jomanah is busy filming the new Jordanian television drama series “Niran Al Bawadi” (Fire of the Desert) on location in the suburbs of Amman with a number of Jordanian, Lebanese, Syrian, and Palestinian actors.
The series was created by Nader Al Mansour and directed by Muhammad Ayesh.
The series also stars Jordanian singer Omar Al Abdullat, Mahmoud Saeed, Abeer Isa, Muhammad Al Abadi, Rifat Al Najar, Ahmad Al Qawadri, Ziad Abu Swailam, Anwar Khalil, Ali Abed Al Aziz, Yousif Yousif, Shaker Jaber, Margo Aslan, Malak Al BArmawi, Diana Rahmah, Muhammad Al Sawalqa, Najla Sahweel and Othman Shamayleh.
The series will feature several songs performed by Omar Al Abdullat.
Jumana will play the role of ‘Noof,’ the daughter of the tribal leader Sheikh Hmoud. She falls in love with ‘Eqab’ played by Omar Al Abdullat.
This is Jomanah’s third drama series for this year.
She just finished filming the third season of the Syrian drama series “Bab Al Harah,” which will be shown during the holy month of Ramadan.
Jomanah will also star in the Syrian drama series “Haik Tjawazna” (This Is How We Got Married).
