Some actors would do anything for an acting role, but clearly Naglaa Fathi isn't one of them!

The Egyptian veteran actress turned down a $1 million offer to star in a new TV drama based on her own life.

Not only did she turn down the part, but she also shattered the Egyptian TV network's dreams by not giving them her consent to produce the drama.

The company had originally proposed that Naglaa stars in three episodes for $1 million, however, Naglaa gave them a firm no.

According to Sayidaty.net, Fathi believes that other actresses would be able to play her character much more convincingly than she would - how is that even possible?

Naglaa also believes that up till now, the actresses who have had their biographies turned into TV productions were misrepresented in an unjust way, as their content would often be inaccurate and based on rumors and fabrications! Fair game!

But the TV network's producers remained hopeful and offered Naglaa another role that she couldn't refuse... literally!

The veteran actress is currently preparing for her return to the spotlight by reading over a number of scripts. Once the most suitable one has been decided upon, she will begin filming the new series.
