ALBAWABA - To celebrate having sold 600 million copies worldwide, One Piece creator Eichiro Oda recently went viral after sharing a video where he wrote the 30-year secret of the beloved anime and manga's treasure on paper.

Oda has done a tremendous job of keeping what's inside the One Piece a secret for 30 long years. However, fans keen to find the secret will have to set sail on a long journey, since the legendary mangaka tore the paper in half, placed it inside a locked treasure chest, and tossed it into the sea on February 12.

The video starts with Oda sitting in a dim room, with subtitles that read, "What is the One Piece?" The video added, "That answer has been determined, kept in the mind of creator Eichiro Oda. At long last, it has been inscribed on paper. Until the whole story is revealed, the truth will rest far beyond anyone's reach at the bottom of the ocean. The One Piece Does Exist."

One Piece follows the story of Monkey D. Luffy, whose dream is to become the Pirate King and find the One Piece, a treasure hidden by the former Pirate King, Gold D. Roger, who was executed in his hometown by the Marines after submitting to his terminal illness. The individual who finds the One Piece will be crowned as the official successor to Gold D. Roger.

Both the manga and its anime adaptation are highly beloved by fans for their strong storyline about companionship, geopolitics, and life struggles.

As a long-running series that began serialization in Shonen Jump in 1997, fans have recently speculated whether Oda has lost the plot on what the "One Piece" treasure is. But the mangaka proved everyone wrong by showing fans that he knew all along with the new viral stunt.
