Pharrell Williams brought his "Happy" self to the Emirati capital last week during the "Ya Salam" Festival organized by "Flash Entertainment". Abu Dhabi was graced by many a global celeb as well as our region's own dearly beloved like Ragheb Alama during the event.
As a part of the Formula 1 competition, the music festival was attended by more than 20 thousand cheering fans, according to Sayidaty.net.
Pharrell was in shock by how well he was received in the city. After opening up with his first song, he stood in awe and said, "Come on the most beautiful audience from Abu Dhabi lets sing the best songs."
Fans then went wild as he performed his most popular hits.
A local fave, Ragheb was also warmly welcomed.
"Thank you Abu Dhabi, the city that has become the home of the whole world we give it all our love," he responded.
Closing the night with the song "Ana Ismi Habeebak" (My Name is Your Lover) from his most recent album, the audience was left with a night they will never forget.
