On Tuesday, G-Eazy lost his ID and managed to use his XXL magazine cover to get through airport security.
The 28-year-old rapper's girlfriend Halsey, 23, tweeted about the incident.
'Gerald [his birth name] lost his ID and he’s trying to use the cover of XXL as part of his additional identification to get through airport security,' she said. 'I’m so annoyed.'
G-Eazy tweet back saying: 'It worked.'
Of course the NYC-based hip-hop outlet retweeted the exchange.
Fans went wild over the exercise of celebrity privilege on Twitter.
