A photographer accused of stalking Barbra Streisand and James Brolin is suing the duo for conspiring with police to have him unlawfully jailed, according to CNN online.
Wendell Wall, 28, who lives down the street from the couple's Malibu home, was arrested in January on suspicion of stalking Streisand. He was held for three days in lieu of a $1 million bond before a judge dismissed his case, citing a "lack of evidence of a credible threat."
In a lawsuit filed Tuesday in Los Angeles Superior Court, Wall says his arrest was "committed with evil motive and intent and in callous, reckless and wanton disregard" of his civil rights. The suit names as defendants Streisand, Brolin, the LA County Sheriff's Department and several deputies.
Streisand and Brolin issued a statement Wednesday denying they had ever "requested his incarceration." – Albawaba.com.
