It's been rumored for months that her tenth album is getting ready for release.
And Britney Spears, 36, may just be ready to announce its release, appearing on the Ellen DeGeneres Show to reveal she had a 'BIG announcement'.
Speaking to the 60-year-old, the pop-princess said she couldn't make the announcement until October 18.
'I actually have a huge announcement to make,' she said when asked why she was there.
And when asked what the news was, she replied: 'My announcement is actually that I have an announcement'.
But although Ellen pressed for more information, the Toxic singer remained tight-lipped.
'I can't announce the announcement until October 18,' she said.
The duo then agreed that her 'big announcement' will be aired on Ellen's YouTube channel.
And while Britney didn't explicitly reveal the surprise was a new album, she has spent the past year hinting at its release.
Speaking to People magazine earlier in the year, she confirmed that she was in the studio recording her 10th album.
'It's a big secret,' she added.
Britney released her ninth soundtrack, Glory, in August 2016 and has spent much of the past four years performing at her Las Vegas residency.
The pop princess has now finished up with the tour and regularly takes to social media to showcase her new-found time spent with her sons Sean, 13, and Jayden, 12, as well as beau Sam Asghari, 24.
