Viewers of the Islamic news network in Iran were stunned earlier this week when the regular channel broadcasts were suddenly cut off in favor of a hard-porno movie, which lasted for about three minutes.
“This was the dirtiest thing I have ever seen”, one of the viewers complained. The Tehran daily Islamic Jomhuri reported that channel officials have confirmed that the movie had been shown and an investigation in the matter has been launched.
In the Islamic republic of Iran, the distribution of porno is strictly forbidden, and violators can receive the death penalty.
Last year, an Iranian woman was stoned to death for her role in a pornography film 8 years ago. The woman plead innocent to the charges but a jury ultimately found her guilty. The ruling was upheld by the Iranian Supreme Court. (Albawaba.com)
