Is 'Ramadan Marwa' for real? Songstress sings new religious prayer.

Known for being controversial, Marwa is the last one you might expect to listen to for your holy month prayers, but now it seems that ‘Ramdan Marwa’ is a whole different family-friendly, and even religious, Lebanese singer!

The songstress that was previously involved in a porn film scandal has completed recording a new religious prayer titled "Bad'ei Ya Rab" (I Pray to you God) just in time for airing throughout Ramadan on different television channels.

According to the Middle East news portal Elaph, the prayer written by Mohammad Shabkah and composed by Majdi Abu Ouf was also turned into a video clip filmed in one of the gardens that belong to a historical mosque in Cairo under the direction of Ibram Nashat.

Last year’s Ramadan marathon brought us a family friendly film also starring Marwa, so maybe this time of year is just what the artist needs to turn over a new leaf.

Which Marwa do you think is the real her: Ramadan or racy songstress? Please share by commenting below.
