President Erdogan helps Turkish actor ask for Moroccan beauty queen's hand in marriage

We are still trying to get our heads around the news that Turkish actor Murat Yildirim is in love with Moroccan actress and former beauty pageant winner Iman El Bani. But now we've learned that the couple is actually engaged-to-be-married!

Murat asked for Iman's hand in marriage in the grandest way ever. The influential actor got Turkish President Erdogan to personally ask Iman's father for his blessing, and he did. HE DID!

The couple bumped into Erdogan at Ankara's Esenboğa International Airport, that's when Murat seized the moment and asked the President to FaceTime Iman's papa and "pop the question." 

"These two youngsters would like to get married, so I'm asking for your daughter Iman's hand in marriage for our son Murat," Erdogan told the actress's father.

Murat and Iman met in London, where the actress lives. They're set to wed at the end of December, before starting their new life as newlyweds in Los Angeles, according to Laha magazine.
