Maestro Solhi al- Wadi is currently preparing for a new opera about the Arab queen of Palmyra, Zenobia.
Syria Times reported that Wadi hopes to present the play in Palmyra.
The opera, which was written by an Italian writer of the 18th century, highlights the strong personality of queen Zenobia and her search to eliminate the subordination of her people from Roman domination.
