They were the best of buds on Season 2 of Arab Idol, and now one of the judges has finally broken their silence about Lebanese superstar Ragheb Alama pulling out of the TV talent competition!
Lebanese superstar Nancy Ajram has finally commented on Alama's decision to quit Arab Idol, and "requested" that he comes back to Season 3.
The girl-next-door tweeted: "I'm eager on the continuation of the success of the show, and I love its fans, I appreciate all members of the judging panel, and Ragheb's presence on that panel reinforces the family feel and spirit we have on Arab Idol."
In a shocking revelation, Ragheb had pulled out of Arab Idol on April 5!
Although many speculated that Ragheb left the panel because of the ongoing feud between him and fellow obnoxious judge Ahlam, he wrote a tweet denying the claims.
According to Laha Magazine, many are speculating that Ahlam had met up with legendary Saudi singer Mohammad Abdo while in Saudi to offer him a place on the Arab Idol judging committee in Season 3.
No one knows whether this is true or if Abdo will say “yes” to Ahlam’s offer to begin with, but only time will tell!
With the Arab Idol live shows fast-approaching, it’s unclear whether a fourth judge will be appointed on time, or if it will be a case of “Three Musketeers” after all!
