Lebanese singer Ragheb Alama did not leave much room for rumors about his banning from entering Tunisia and was recently there and held several performances without any prior preparations. Ragheb's participation was a shock to everyone and he had made it a point to make his performance a memorable one and dedicated some of his new songs to the Tunisian president and nation. The Tunisian president considered Ragheb's stance to be a very generous gesture and sent him a personal letter thanking him for a splendid performance.
According to the London based Elaph, upon the singer's return from Tunisia he was shocked to learn that one of his songs "Nasini El Dinia" (Make me Forget the World) from his upcoming album, which has not been released yet, was leaked. The singer expressed extreme anger especially since he was keen on keeping the details of his new album top secret to avoid such instances.
Alama was recently in Italy where he completed shooting his upcoming music video for the song “Naseeni Al Dunia” (Make me Forget the World). The singer sought the assistance of an Italian director in order to give the new clip a unique sense of style.
Ragheb revealed that he will not perform any concerts during the holy month of Ramadan and will spend his time making final touches on his upcoming album, which has been postponed numerous times.
Finally after endless disputes that have building on for months between Ragheb and producer Muhsin Jabr, owner of Alam El Phan, a truce has been reached between the two sides. Alama agreed to the company’s condition of finalizing his upcoming album in order to be released by the Muslim holiday Eid Al Fitr.
Muhsin also agreed to shoot Ragheb’s upcoming music video for the song “Al Hub Al Kibeer” (The Big Love) in Italy and all necessary preparations are currently underway. With this truce, Mushin was able to save his company from a second blow, the first being when Egyptian pop-star Amr Diab left. –Albawaba.com
