Following the release of their album, musicians, composers and producers Rami Abadir and Mostafa El-Sayed will perform in the Garden City-based art space ROOM on Friday, 20 February.
The show will be accompanied by visuals designed by Islam Shabana.
Abadir and El-Sayed first collaborated in a live improvised session last July. At the time, Abadir told an Ahram Online reporter: “We listen to and work with very similar sounds, so we just … met somewhere."
Their album, composed of eight tracks, is a blend of analog synthesizers, drum machines and sampling repetitive patterns. It was released at Rawabet Theatre in January.
