In a few days' time, we will see Lebanese singer Ramy Ayach make his acting debut in the much-anticipated film "Paparazzi."
Although this was an Egyptian-Lebanese collaboration, Ramy played the role of an Egyptian man, and his co-star Eman el Asy was at hand to help him master the Egyptian accent.
Also starring in the romantic movie are Egyptian veteran actor Ezzat About Ouf, Carla Boutros and Wissam Sabbagh.
Having already mastered the art of music, tackling the acting scene was a daring feat for the pop star, but apparently it came quite naturally for him. Eman told Laha Magazine that although this was Ramy's first time in front of the camera, he acted like it was old hat. More than likely his experiences dabbling in music videos throughout his singing career gave him a certain comfort with being captured on film, Eman explained.
He hasn't said farewell to his first love, either. Ramy is still crankin' out the tunes, having recorded several singles for the flick, including ones titled "Ala Nas O Nas," "Albi Waja'ni" and "Ahla Eid."
