It's been a while since we've heard from Rania Abdel Razik on the silver screen. The beautiful 43-year-old Egyptian actress has popped up a few times in Egyptian TV dramas over the last few years, dabbling with producing and starring in a few series.

But this month Razik's coming back with a bang. Right now she's living it up on a family vacation in Dubai, but come mid-September Razik will be burning the candle at both ends preparing for a brand new film with fellow-Egyptian writer Abdel Rahim Kamal.

There's no reveal quite yet of the film's details, but the long-loved Egyptian diva is sure to impress. Over the years she's sat in the producer's seat as well as the spotlight, she's held down a space in the world of TV drama, and rocked it in the country's cut-throat movie industry.

Razik is no stranger to spinning bunches of projects on her plate at once. And right now, her plate's got a whole lot of variety.

In addition to jumping into film prep, the 20-year acting veteran's finishing up another TV series. Ramadan drama "Shajarat Al Durr" is set to roll out in time for Ramadan 2015, leaving the crew, production and Razik herself scrambling to complete the rest of the scenes on schedule. Talk about crunch time!

She last starred in 2013's "Raklam," the story of three women who turn to prostitution in the face of money woes. While some reviewers called the film itself lackluster and shallow, they hailed Razik 's performance as fierce and believable.

Show us what's next, Rania!
