What's the truth behind Ece İrtem's mother?
Turkish lawyer Ugur Gokkoyun said the statement believed to belong to Ece İrtem's mother doesn't reflect the truth behind the actress' death.
She said, "Following the death of my client Ece İrtem on June 15, 2026, the investigating authorities have stated that her mother's statement was taken, and certain comments are being made based on this statement."
"My client's mother has been in shock since learning of the incident and has been placed under medical supervision; her statement has not yet been taken. This is respectfully announced to the public."
