According to the London daily Elaph, the young actress Reem Al Baroudi stars in the theatrical play “Shafiqa and Mitwali” that opened last month.
Reem announced that she is thrilled to play the role of Shafiqa on stage and that she has a passion for theatre. Reem said the play shows how girls and young women are pressured by society to behave badly.
“Shafiqa Wa Mitwali” was also made into a film in the past starring the late Egyptian actors Souad Hosny and Ahmad Zaki.
Reem is also preparing to film “Ishhanli O A’radlak” with the producer and director Hani Jarjis Fouzi.
