Reem Al Ghazali’s replacement in a Kuwaiti film

Recently, it was released in more than one media source that the star of both programs ‘Star Academy and Nijem Al Arab (Arab Star)’Reem Al Ghazali was heading to Kuwait to participate in the Kuwaiti film “I’lan Halit Hob” (Love Case). The news was released and became true during a press conference that was held for the filming of the movie and her face was put on posters for the movie.


 According to the London daily Elaph, shortly afterwards Reem was replaced by another actress Amira Muhammad, who filmed her role alongside the leading star of the movie Masha’el Al Zinkowi.


 The producers of the film released the real reason behind keeping Reem away from the new film, and stated that Reem was not issued a visa by Kuwaiti authority to enter Kuwait. Authority officials stated that Reem’s visa was denied because of her young age and she is single and not married, in turn had no chaperon.


 The movie faced many problems before and after the filming took place. Many actors walked away from participating according to a number of sources in different production companies in Kuwait.


  Reem participated in the musical program “Nijem Al Arab” (Arab Star) which was held in the Omani city Salalah. She performed a number of songs in the competition.
