Both Dubai and Doha are set to get a dose of the UK songster come Springtime. The Qatar capital has called first dibs on the award-winning artist, sneaking a concert in two days before the UAE gets their hands on him. While the Doha event has yet to appear on Ed's official website, Doha News reports that Iconic Advertising & Events announced the March 3rd concert date and QNCC venue via social media on Sunday.
"Ed Sheeran – who has just released his second album ‘X’ overtaking Coldplay’s 'Ghost Stories' as the biggest seller of 2014, is set to perform in Doha next spring Following on from an appearance at this year's Glastonbury music festival over the summer in the South West of England, Ed Sheeran is set to perform at the cities national convention centre on March 3rd next year," the company posted to Facebook.
Meanwhile, Ed's Dubai followers are in a sheer state of excitement as his rumored Emirates performance has likewise been confirmed. The artist will hop over to the UAE for a March 5th gig at the Dubai Media City Amphitheatre. Tickets for that event are set to go on sale this Thursday, November 20.
He may only boast 23 years of age, but Ed has a following that spreads across continents and age brackets. Can't wait to see how he fares in our corner of the world.
