Lebanese singer Rida Boutrus has recently released a new single "Hilweh El Donia" (The World is Beautiful), which is a remix of the first song prominent singer Wadi Murad ever sung at the beginning of his career. The song is originally sung in the Greek language, but Rida's version includes a number of alterations made to it.

Rida's changes were minor in some ways trying hard to keep the song as it was when Wadi sang it. Rida has recently signed a new contract with Free Music Records Company, which will adopt all of Rida's work.

Rida recently came back from the United States of America, after she had gone to be by the side of her sister Nina Boutrus who was in labor for her firstborn, a baby girl named Rida Junior. Rida expressed that it's her duty to be by the side of her sister in such an emotional moment, putting all her work aside until her sister is back on her feet.

Before her departure to the US, Rida completed the recording of her latest single, which is part of her upcoming album produced by Alam Al Fan (World of Art) production company. The song is composed by Jan Mary Riashi, and written by Elias Naser. Rida’s upcoming album will be the first to be produced by Alam Al Fan as she has made the decision to choose them as the company that will be adopting all her work.

Boutrus had been working intensely in preparing for her second album after Sony produced her first solo album after her breakup from the duo with her sister Nina. Sony offices in Turkey have contacted Rida and offered to produce and market her song “Mustafa Ya Mustafa”. Rida has agreed to give Sony the rights for reproducing the songs, that will be sung by a Turkish artist to present the song in a new form..

Rida released her first album, which includes 13 songs, in July 2002. Salah al Sharnoobi participated in composing the cadences for the new album along with Emad Shams al Din, Marwan Khouri and Tareq Abu Judeh. The song “Mustafa Ya Mustafa” was the first released by Rida after she broke away from the duo with her sister Nina.

Butros’s first album included “Qalbi Majnoonak” (My Heart’s Crazy for You), written by Tony Abi Karam and composed by Tareq Abu Joudah, and remade by Naser Al Asaad. Recording took place at Tony Saba Studios.

Rida had stopped singing for two months after the death of her father, returned to the music scene on her own with her first solo album. Rida previously sang duets with her sister Nina, who has abandoned her singing career and moved to live in US with her husband. – Albawaba.com
