She released her eighth studio album, Anti, almost three years ago exactly.
And to celebrate the milestone, Rihanna gave a special shout-out to the man responsible for her album's cover art.
The singer, 30, posted a mesmerizing video of artist Roy Nachum creating the edgy cover art of a young Rihanna wearing a crown over her eyes.
'This is the man behind the most iconic artwork of my album covers to date...' Rihanna captioned the video, tagging Roy.
'shout outs to @iamchloemitchell for this beautiful poem in braille. So many layers of art in this album man! #ANTI #ANTIversary' she wrote.
The video chronicled the pain-staking process that went into creating the eye-catching artwork, from start to finish.
The process appeared to take place over the course of many days, and saw Roy gradually sketch, paint, and perfect the picture.
Anti was released on January 28, 2016, and peaked at number one on the U.S. Billboard 200 chart.
It featured the songs Kiss It Better, Love On The Brain, and Work featuring Drake.
Since releasing Anti, Rihanna has expanded her reach to the world of lingerie.
Last year she launched the affordable lingerie line, Savage x Fenty.
She also ventured into the world of makeup, releasing Fenty Beauty by Rihanna in 2017.
The successful line sold more than $100 million just weeks after hitting the market.
