ALBAWABA - Rockstar Games recently made headlines after news circulated on social media that the popular game developer might grant a terminally ill fan with cancer early access to the long-awaited GTA 6.

This comes after Anthony Armstrong, a UI Integrator at Ubisoft, posted on LinkedIn asking his network if they knew anyone at Rockstar Games. Although the post was removed, many users shared screenshots of it on social media.

Armstrong wrote, "A member of my family has been battling cancer for years and recently received the worst possible news. He has been given an estimated 6–12 months to live."

They added, "I’m reaching out because he is a huge GTA fan, and with the most recent updates, there’s a very real chance he may not be around long enough to see the launch of GTA VI."

The UI Integrator said that his family member might not make it until the November 19 release date and understands that an NDA may need to be signed to play the game early for the sake of secrecy.

Armstrong further wrote, "Final update: We spoke with them today and received wonderful news. That’s all I can share, but thank you all from the bottom of my heart."

Speculations on social media state that Rockstar reportedly granted the terminally ill fan early access to GTA 6 and arranged an NDA.

Take-Two Interactive and Rockstar recently received backlash for laying off over 30 employees from their UK and Canada studios. The two companies claimed that the fired employees were plotting to share confidential information in a public forum.
