Egyptian singer Ehab Tawfiq has received an invitation from the officials of the Music Production Company Rotana to attend a celebration for the signing of his new contract, as was the case with Syrian singer George Wassouf and Egyptian singer Amr Diab. Ehab’s contract with Rotana is for the upcoming three years, in which the singer agreed to produce at least one new album per year.
According to the Egyptian based weekly, Al Nogoom, Ehab’s decision to move to Rotana came after long negotiations held with the company, and after he was given an offer that met his expectations. The singer added that he hopes his move will prove to be fruitful and add to his music career.
Tawfiq has announced that he is looking for a totally new look for his music videos wanting to find something that will make him standout more. The singer revealed that he is looking through a number of French styles that have been presented to him, but he has not settled on which one he will choose.
The singer also added that he wants to change his hairstyle and some of his features for the new look. Ehab noted that it is an important factor of success to always present fans with something new along with every album.
Tawfiq recently held a spectacular performance at the Carthage Music Festival in Tunisia in front an audience of 15 thousand. The singer held his concert in a stadium that normally fits up to 12 thousands people, but due to the large popularity of the singer, people crowded in the stadium not wanting to miss out on the big event.
Ehab's concert was sold out two days before its scheduled date, and the organizers of the festival were forced to open the doors of the stadium 3 hours prior to the concert in order to allow the large crowd to enter. The singer performed a number of his new and old songs for a period of 2 hours and a half in front of fans who sang, danced and clapped throughout the event, which led the singer's tears to begin falling unable to overcome the joy of being so loved by all the people present.
Tawfiq had been spending over 16 hours everyday in recording studios preparing for his upcoming album. The singer had decided to leave the studio for as little time as possible in order to complete recording all the songs and have his album ready for release this summer.
The singer worked with a number of prominent poets and writers for the new album. Ehab recently completed the selection of songs for his album, under the production of High Quality Music Company. It was revealed that Ehab is currently holding negotiations with a new production company but refused to give out any further details until a deal is struck. –Albawaba.com
