The porverbial 'search for Egyptian actress Nabila Obeid' is a new project brought to us by 'Rotana' TV network, set up around the life of a famous celebrity in Egyptian cinema.
Nabila - as a name and icon in Egyptian cinema -- serves for the purposes of the show as inspiration for millions of aspiring women and actresses in Egypt and the Arab world, as this feature will be a gateway for new talent for Arab cinema.
According to the Middle East news portal Elaph, after the selection round of contestants that take part in the boot camp under the supervision of Nabila and a select crew of celebrities, an elimination process begins and carries on until one contestant wins and gets the opportunity to sign a contract to star in a TV drama and film produced by Rotana.
Rotana -- a major Arab production company - as well as the major starring opportunity is offering additional prizes to the winners and runners up.
The program is scheduled to run on Rotana network end of the year, and those who wish to participate can have a go, by following the guidelines released by Rotana currently.
