Controversial Egyptian superstar Ruby has headed to Sharm El Sheikh to film a music video for the song “Al Mani Khair,” also the title of her upcoming album scheduled for release this July.
Ruby’s business manager Sharif Sabri denied circulating rumours that Ruby will be starring in a new film titled “Raqsit Ruby Al Majnooneh” (Ruby’s Crazy Dance).
Ruby said she was “disgusted” by the rumour, prompted by the circulation of distasteful photographs of the star.
Ruby has requested that Sabri produce a new film for her, featuring her music and a number of dance performances to tout her continued success despite the numerous attacks.
On a different note, Sabri announced that songs recently posted on internet websites are neither sung by Ruby, nor are they part of her upcoming album.
“These songs were fabricated to make people believe they were actually sung by Ruby,” asserted Sabri.
According to the UAE based daily, Al Bayan, Sabri said that Ruby's upcoming album was recorded in a sensitive manner to purposefully avoid leakage before its release.
