She can deny the rumors all she wants, but there's no escaping the truth for Egyptian actress Ruby now! Last week, news outlets in Egypt said the controversial star had gotten married and claimed to know who her new hubby was after being told in an interview.
Also, back in August, a wedding band was spotted on the actress's finger!
While Ruby continuously dismissed the rumors, her sister, actress Maryhane, confirmed that Ruby has really tied the knot!
So much for family loyalty, eh? According to Sayidaty.net, Maryhane finally broke her silence and said, "She did not do anything in secret. Ruby has gotten married in a private ceremony, which was held amongst family members and very close friends."
She added, "The marriage was not made public and was kept from the media for personal reasons that we do not wish to share."
The 32-year-old has been climbing the fame ladder in Egypt since her 2003 hit single, "Enta Aref Leih," Arabic for "Do you know why?" Since its recognition, she's produced two more full-length albums and starred in a number of films, including 2014's Dr. Who, and the much-contested "Saba' Wara'aat Kotcheena," (7 Playing Cards) which garnered regional attention and was even banned in several countries throughout the Middle East.
