Things were all going so well for Ruby, the Egyptian actress with more than a little scandal behind her. But filming for her latest project, 'Fatat Masnaa' (Factory Girl) this week came to an abrupt halt after the production money ran out.
Director, Mohammad Khan, said the production company had run up debts in the past and these had finally caught up with them whilst cast and crew were busy making the new movie.
Ruby, who stars alongside Hani Adel, is supposed to portray the life of a girl working in a factory, who undergoes all the hardships of povery and sexual harassment. It's a brave project for an actress once associated with soft porn than gritty drama. Khan says filming will now be postponed until October, meaning the movie may not be available in the theaters for many more months.
