Sabah Fakhri Sings in Dubai

The original Arabic song lovers spent five hours on Sunday listening to the Syrian singer Sabah Fakhri at one of the al Adhha Eid concerts hosted by al Bustan Rotana Hotel in Dubai, according to the UAE daily al Bayan. 

The singer began the concert with the Andalusi Muwashah (terza merza) Ahinnu Ela Diaren Raaito Fiha Diar Salma (I Long for a Neighborhood I Saw as Salma’s Neighborhood) and then sang A’la Dalouna amid dancing and Dabkeh. Then he sang al Full Wa al Yasmin Wa al Ward and the audience joined him in the songs Ya Mal al Sham, Malek Ya Hilweh Malek and al Looloo al Manthour which became more appealing to the public with time. 

The song Khamrat al Hobb Askiniha which lasted more than half an hour aroused the audience amid their unbelievable reactions. After a number of Muwashahat and songs, Fakhri concluded his the concert with the song Talaa’ al Bader A’laina which he dedicated for the Eid. 

Fakhri also brought delight to his voice lovers at a concert heavily attended at the Rotana Beach Hotel in Abu Dhabi Monday -- Albawaba.com
