Sabah, in Good Health, Returns to Beirut

Famous Lebanese singer Sabah has returned to Beirut after spending six months in the United States where she has been convalescing after suffering from a heart attack. 

Dr. Sabah Shammas, a physician residing in the United States, has been taking care of his mother, Sabah, after her Lebanese physicians advised her to rest and avoid exhaustion following her illness.  

The London-based Al-Sharq Al-Awsat newspaper said the Lebanese singer was warmly welcomed by scores of fans and journalists at Beirut airport. 

Sheep were also slaughtered at the entrance to the building where she lives in the Lebanese capital, to celebrate her safe return home. 

Sabah, who declined to sing or perform concerts during her convalescence, assured her fans that she was in good health and will return to work soon. 

The beloved singer is expected make an appearance soon on the LBCI Studio Al-Fan show, produced by television director Simon Asmar

Sabah might also star in a television series written by George Khater who wrote and produced her biography for Al-Mustaqbal television — (Albawaba)
