Egyptian folk singer Saed Al Sughair stated that he will no longer sing in nightclubs regardless of how tempting the offer may be. Saed also defended prostitutes, who are always being attacked by people for their profession, stressing that they are ladies who suffer from psychological problems who need to be treated and helped.
Saed revealed that before his recent illness he was walking on the wrong path and used to perform numerous bad deeds like not pray and have intimate relationships with prostitutes and other women, but after God gave him a second chance he changed all his ways and began praying and stopped all illegitimate relationships with women.
Saed added that he wishes God will guide him in the right direction and stop his singing career and take on a profession that benefits people. Saed also noted that he stopped singing at nightclubs and will never go back to them, especially since the atmosphere at nightclubs only leads to doing bad things.
According to the internet website MBC.net, Saed said that women who work in nightclubs and as prostitutes are forced into their professions for their dire need of money. He added that most of the women are single mothers and in some cases bring their children with them to the nightclubs. He added that these women must be given a helping hand to be guided in the right direction and stop their wrong doings.
