If the Stereophonics in concert wasn’t reason enough to buy a ticket for next month’s Sandance then how about this?
Singer Labrinth, UK guitarist and vocalist Newton Faulkner, electronica act Leftfield and Italian superstar DJ Benny Benassi have all been added to the festival schedule on November 9 at Atlantis, Palm Jumeirah.
British duo Leftfield, best known for their groundbreaking 1995 debut album Leftfield, as well as follow-up Rhythm and Stealth, from 1999 and more recently Tourism, released earlier this year, will take an early evening slot, playing between Newton Faulkner at sunset and rockers Stereophonics.
Faulkner, from Reigate, Surrey, known for his unique style of ‘“tapping” guitar playing, will play songs from all previous albums as well as new tracks from Write It On Your Skin, released this summer.
Early bird tickets are sold out but regular tickets, priced Dh275 in advance (Dh300 on the door) and Dh450 VIP, are available at platinumlist.ae, from Nasimi Beach and from selected EPPCO and ENOC stations. For table packages call 055-2004321.
