Saweetie, the rap sensation who has been nominated for multiple awards, has just released her new single "Richtivities" under ICY/Warner Records.
The song is a catchy and confident anthem that celebrates the lavish lifestyle of "pretty bitches" who are successful, independent, and unapologetic.
"Richtivities" is a departure from Saweetie's previous hits, such as "Tap In" and "Best Friend", as it showcases a more soulful and smooth side of her rap skills.
The track features a sample of "The Makings of You" by Curtis Mayfield, adding a classic touch to the modern beat.
Saweetie delivers witty and empowering lyrics, such as "Money talk bank account motor mouth / Private jets first class not a flex / Post a pic shut down the entire net / Not impressed what competition I'm the best".
The song also comes with a visualizer that depicts Saweetie enjoying her rich activities, such as riding a yacht, sipping champagne, and posing with luxury cars. The visualizer also hints at some of the themes and aesthetics of Saweetie's highly anticipated debut album, Pretty Bitch Music, which is expected to drop later this year.
Saweetie has been busy with other projects as well, such as starring in the third season of the Starz series BMF, executive produced by 50 Cent. She plays Keeya, a former college athlete with ties to the streets of St. Louis.
The show is set to premiere on March 1st.
