The Voice Kids Arabia made Lebanese singer Lynn Hayek its first ever winner last month.
This month, the 12-year-old rising talent will be making her UAE debut at Yas Mall, Abu Dhabi.
Lynn will be performing on Friday, April 8, as part of the mall’s Spring Festival’s finale. Coincidentally, pop sensation Nancy Ajram, who was a judge on the kids' singing competition, performed at the festival's opening ceremony on March 31.
Luckily for Lynn, she was mentored by celebrity judge Iraqi superstar Kazem el Saher on the show.
“I learnt so much from Mr Kazem,” Al Hayek said before her performance in the final. “I was so shy – he taught me how to be confident and show what I’ve got. I’m a new person now when I sing.” Adding that Kazem taught her “how to be strong and daring, and to always smile. Because of him, I discovered that my voice is even better than I thought.”
