The Syrian actress Raw’ah Al Sa’di’s father revealed that the reason behind the early retirement of his daughter is the rumors spreading about her having a romantic relationship with the Syrian actor Qais Sheikh.
Raw’ah had focused on presenting Turkish drama series in the Arabic language.
The Turkish drama has become more popular across Arab satellite channels and is widely watched by Arab viewers.
Writer Hani Al Sa’di said that the rumors went as far as to claim that the two actors had gotten married and went to Istanbul for their honeymoon.
Her father also points out that Raw’ah never worked with Qais and she had no connection to him and that is why the rumors were even more upsetting.
Raw’ah’s fans are asking her when they see her walking in the streets to return to acting.
