After an absence of fourteen years, Algerian singer Shab Khaled has gone back to his homeland to perform a concert on the 14th of November, according to Agence France Press.
The news agency said that the concert will be held at the ‘Harsha’ Hall in the Capital’s center, in celebration of the International day for diabetes. All proceeds from the concert, will therefore go to the Algerian Diabetes Organization.
Shab Khaled had left Algeria in 1987 in order to reside in France, where he achieved worldwide success.
Since then, the singer returned to his homeland only once, in spring of 1999, in order to attend a court hearing against him. – Albawaba.com.
