Shatha Hasoon records her first song

The young Iraqi artist Shatha Hasoon recently returned from Dubai where she appeared on various media channels to talk about the success of her new “Khaliji” (Gulf Countries dialect) song “Waed Arqoob.”  Shatha held interviews on Al Arabyiah channel, Dubai Television and Rotana Khalijyah channels while in Dubai.


  According to the London daily Elaph, Shatha has also recorded her first song for her first album, featuring a collection of “Iraqi-Khaliji” songs.


The new song is called “Al Sa’ah” (The Hour) and was written by Sultan Mjali and composed by Fayez Al Saeed. The new album will soon be released.


Shatha will also appear on an episode of the entertainment show “Sawlifna Al Helwah” (Our Nice Chats) aired on Dubai satellite channel.
