An Arabic saying goes: "He who compliments himself is a liar," and based on Shatha Hassoun's latest tweet, that could apply to her as well?
The Iraqi singer was full of praise, for herself, in a tweet where she wrote, "I'll always stay that high-standing palm tree that's thrown into the rocks and stays standing, giving the sweetest fruits to all."
To be fair, she's the right to be a tad full of herself, as she enjoys a long and successful career track record. Shatha has recently held a fab concert at Jerash Festival and is currently preparing to film two new music videos from her latest album with director Waleed Nasif in Beirut.
In recent news, Shatha met with her frenemy Ahlam, where the two kissed and made up. In a video released by Ahlam, she was filmed showering Shatha with kisses and telling her how much she loves her. What a difference a day makes!
