Normally stars in the Arab world only need look in the mirror to find their inspiration, but Egyptian singer Sherine Abdel Wahab has looked further afield, naming American pop princess Jennifer Lopez as her role model.

It's not her fabulous celeb lifestyle or even her infamous J.Lo booty that has caught Sherine's eye, but the way that the international songstress handled her breakup with former husband Mark Anthony.

Sherine says she admires the way that J.Lo managed to brush herself off after the split and move onwards and upwards with her career, whilst keeping strong for her two children.

Now, as Sherine is bracing herself for the aftermath of her own divorce from her husband of five years, Egyptian composer Mohammad Mustafa, she will be drawing on the strength of her American idol to overcome the hard times.
